This retreat is now sold out. Please get in touch to join the waitlist.

Friday 6th - Sunday 8th December 2024

The highlight of our calendar year, the Christmas Ballet Retreat is a three day ballet extravaganza. Immerse yourself in the fun of learning ballet, with like-minded souls, to Christmassy songs at the barre and a Nutcracker repertoire.

Over the course of the weekend, under the instruction of the experienced teacher James Forbat (Royal Ballet School & First Soloist at English National Ballet), you will absorb yourself in the art of dance.

Alongside building your confidence and improving your technique and knowledge, we will work on adage, pirouettes and artistry to give you a better understanding of what’s required to execute the repertoire.

With Christmassy themed classes, a Nutcracker repertoire and stunning tutus this will be an amazing weekend to hone your ballet skills. The repertoire from the Nutcracker will be excerpts from dance of the snowflakes.

There will also be the opportunity to attend Thursford Christmas Dance Spectacular on Saturday night, which has the biggest dance cast in Europe and features non stop singing, dancing, music and variety (tickets are not included in the retreat total).

As with all of Let’s Dance Retreats the classes are small. Due to the limited numbers, spaces for our retreats tend to sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, get in touch to book your place.

Format

This intensive ballet retreat will take place over 3 days from Friday 6th – Sunday 8th December 2024.

Each day will have 5 hours of ballet and will begin in the studio at 10am with a ballet warm-up. This will be followed by a christmassy themed ballet class and Nutcracker repertoire taught by James Forbat.
